María Pulido is an art director specializing in animation, with over 15 years of experience as an animator, illustrator, visual development artist, and watercolorist. She has worked on a wide range of productions, from pre-production to final delivery

She has collaborated with agencies such as La Crème, Coolte, and Aymara, and recently served as art supervisor on the latest Tadeo Jones film. María also led the art direction for Mariposas Negras (Ikiru Films, Tinglado Films), winner of the 2025 Goya Award for Best Animated Feature.

She is currently finishing Tsunami, an animated short she writes and directs. Her style blends artistic depth with fresh visual storytelling, as seen in award-winning works like Ámome, Soy una tumba, and Patchwork.
